About: The Southwest BeltLine Connector was originally planned as a connection between southwest Atlanta neighborhoods to the Atlanta BeltLine. It does connect many neighborhoods with walkable, rideable streets close to the BeltLine and therefore a safe way for most riders and pedestrians to access the BeltLine. This is not a seamless trail; there are quiet streets to follow and controlled crossings of busy streets to negotiate. It connects to the Lionel Hampton Trail on the west end.
