About: The Covington Cricket Frog Trail is a 12-foot wide rails-to-trails conversion that will soon connect historic Porterdale to Covington and Mansfield. Segments of the trail are completed, with additional segments under construction and being designed. Segments nearest Covington are completed, passing within two blocks of the downtown square. When completed the Cricket Frog will be 14 miles long, crossing several historic trestles and connecting three communities with an off road trail through the timberlands and pastures of central Georgia.
