My Story:
A junkie for culture, food, the arts and music, I have always been drawn and inspired by the creativity every human possesses. For me, nothing sparks creativity more than getting outside. I enjoy the Eastside BeltLine Trail because it offers the perfect creative space where modern industrialism and nature can co-exist. The trail also brings together all shades of the human race, which truly embodies who we are as ATLiens. As you walk along, I love to pass through the open air art gallery where you can view street-art in the making and watch local street artists create and paint on their concrete canvas. It is a truly organically-sociable experience. With multiple gathering areas including the Old 4th Ward skate park and green spaces, I feel very much connected with the human race at the same time experience the serenity that nature can bring.

Details: My trail experience is definitely one that identifies perfectly with our city — diverse, accessible, and full of life — and that is the Eastside Trail, aka The Beltline! It’s the perfect spot to step away from the office — Launch, where we focus on creating digital experiences for today’s modern consumer — and take in all the inspiration this trail provides. And while I’d love to be back on the blades or my bike, simply taking this corridor in via foot is my favorite way to experience. This allows me and my family to absorb all the creativity and culture that personifies The A. My perfect stroll for inspiration is definitely from DeKalb Avenue to Monroe and back… and maybe stopping off at Ladybird or Shake Shack to replenish those calories burned.
